Our first ever flavor trip to Peru left us amazed at what this washed coffee has to offer. A wonderful complex melange of flavors that really stand out when brewed as filter coffee. Think florals, jasmine, iced green tea, vanilla biscuits, coffee blossom. Yup, complex!

Finca la Chirimoya is named after the many fruit trees on the property. The farm is located in the Piura region at 1850m in northern Peru. The high altitudes, wind from the Pacific and changing rain and sun periods offer the perfect growing conditions for coffee. In this region, coffee is mainly grown by small farmers on areas of one to two hectares. Together with his wife, Rodolfo Paico Flores pays attention to sustainable and ecological cultivation and makes sure that no harmful substances get into his coffees.
