Colombia La Marianela Microlot

This natural wonder makes you feel like there's a party in your mouth and everyone is invited!
We rarely run into a coffee that knocks us out of our socks, but this was definitely one of those coffees. It's a love-it-or-hate-it type coffee. But most people LOVE IT! This is the second season that La Marianela took a leap into natural and again it's a masterpiece of aromas that begins during grinding and lingers on during brewing. And then the flavor ... dear oh dear! Fruity, boozy, with subtle hints of fermented chocolate. A very very special coffee that excels as filter and rocks as espresso.

Ethiopia Suke Quto Washed

Our favorite Ethiopian coffee from the Guji region is finally here. It's hard to beat last years crop, but the coffee from the 2020 harvest is simply ... WOW! And, it's 100% traceable on blockchain!

We must confess - we love coffees from the Guji region. And even more, we love coffees from the Suke Quto washing station. The Guji region is, in our opinion, becoming one of the best coffee regions in Ethiopia and we have one man to thank - Mr. Tesfaye Bekele, owner of the Suke Quto washing station and the man who brought coffee in the region. We don't know what magic trick Tesfaye pulled off with his 278 outgrowers, but there is only one word that can describe this coffee - FABULOUS! A cupping score of almost 90 is well deserved.

But it's not just the flavor and overall quality of this coffee ... we are proud to say that this coffee is 100% traceable, all the way to the growers as part of a blockchain project between Trabocca (our supplier of this coffee) and Fairfood.
